My System:
Bitwig 5.3.13
Floe CLAP 1.0.6
System:
Kernel: 6.16.12-1-liquorix-amd64 [6.16-11~mx23ahs] arch: x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 5.27.5 tk: Qt v: 5.15.8 wm: kwin_x11 vt: 7 dm: SDDM
Distro: MX-23.6_ahs_x64 Libretto - Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
I installed FLOE but Bitwig could not found the CLAP (3.) wrong Path.
Installing Music Box Library works, by manually drop all Folders into the FLOE Folder inside
~./ (home/username*/Floe/)
Edit: This following ISSUE appears ONLY if i COPY the Presets form Celtic Harp into my OWN Presets Folder.
Because the Presets are not in a Subfolder and not installed correctly like the Music Box Library was. I expected Presets are under FLOE Library and Presets Folder
1.
There is a pop up ERROR and i - sadly for you - can not copy this Message so…i [dismiss]
-> Something about
FrozenPlain - Mirage Compatibility library not found (error CM4)
it seems that this Library is not compatible with the Linux Version? Because Mirage Compatibility is not downloadable for Linux.
I installed via FLOE itself that works as well
i wonder that this Celtic Harp Presets are not in a Subfolder. I expected this by the Folder Structure after installing FLOE.
2.
Celtic Harp works, kinda…there are some question mark ( ? ) icons in the Floe Browser for
- ( ? )Mirage Compatibility
- ( ? )Ocarina
- ( ? )Xylophone
also for the Presets Misty Memories and The Celtica
if i switch the Presets the Error appears (as i say its because manually copy the presets to the Presets Folder)
3.
i need manually copy the Floe.CLAP into my Home Folder to use it in
Bitwig 5.3.13.
The Clap landed in /usr/lib/clap not in ~/.clap where all my Clap Plugins are natively (this is a fix folder on my system)…now it works…Bitwig is unable to open or even find usr/lib/clap so i couldn’t add it to the Bitwig
Finally - i do not have the Presets for Celtic Harp, because the Presets Folder don’t search in the Library Folder where the Celtic Harp Presets are AND i can not manually Copy it into the Presets Folder.
Issue 2:
The Error Reporting/ Send Feedback inside the FLOE let me write out of the Description Box.
Cheers* and huge thanks for a native Linux Plugin xoxo
