From the myriad of midi helpers that i've tested or own, the idea behind Obelisk seems to be the sweet-spot that helps me overcome my keyboard handicap (i play guitars) without messing with my compositional intent. (the custom scale feature helps tremendously with that). i would like it to be a bit more extended in terms of channels and possibilities but i make do, since for my needs most other midi helpers feel like gimmicks or overcomplications when it comes down to transferring and exploring chordal ideas to the daw (and my ears).
